84-Year-Old Man Drowns At Massachusetts Beach, Report Says

An 84-year-old man has died after he was pulled from the water in Lynn, CBS Boston reports.

Police responded to a report of a person drowning at Lynn Beach shortly before 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, the outlet reports. 

Upon arrival, crews gave the man medical aid before transporting him to Salem Hospital for further treatment. He did not survive, the outlet reports. 

The incident remains under investigation.
